How to Apply for your Reptile Licence
A great first pet reptile for beginners and children!
Woma Pythons (Aspidites ramsayi) are natively found throughout regions of central Australia and the southwest of Western Australia. Identified by their unique orange head, brown body and creamy-yellow bands, these snakes typically grow to a length of around 1.5 metres, with some reaching longer. In the wild, woma pythons prey on a variety of lizards, ground birds and small mammals. They mostly catch their prey in burrows, using a loop of their body to pin the animal against a wall of the burrow. They are mostly nocturnal snakes, spending the day resting in logs or under leaves.
